I have 10 years of experience in research, consulting and engineering gained in the UK, Austria, Poland and Germany. I have been involved in transport planning and traffic engineering projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Since 2016, I have been working as a Research Associate at the University of Innsbruck and since 2020, as a Senior Scientist. I am also a visiting scholar at Auburn University, AL (USA).
I have expertise in travel behavior modeling and Discrete Choice Analysis, which I developed while working on my PhD thesis under the supervision of Markus Mailer (University of Innsbruck) and Kay W. Axhausen (ETH Zurich). I have completed the course on Predicting Individual Behavior and Market Demand led by Moshe Ben-Akiva and Michael Bierlaire at the EPFL in Lausanne, and attended advanced trainings on Choice Modelling and Survey Design taught by Stephane Hess and Michiel Bliemer at the University of Leeds.
I am qualified in transportation models and modeling transport demand and supply, which I learned from Markus Friedrich and Christian Schiller at the Technical University of Dresden. I am also trained in transport appraisal, which I learned from John Nellthorp and James Laird at the University of Leeds, and applied in the UK.
I am experienced in traffic engineering, signal design and microsimulation models, which I created for transport authorities in the UK (e.g. Transport for London), Germany, Austria, and Poland.
